Temilade is an investment professional with a focus on social development. As the Social Impact and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) manager at Alitheia Capital, Temilade is responsible for identifying and realizing opportunities for sustainability and value creation in private equity investments by ensuring coherence in the investment and impact objectives of the firm in achieving superior returns. Before Alitheia, Temilade worked at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris as a project consultant responsible for content creation, editing, and translation of the e-learning tool ‘Women in African History’. As a Capstone Consultant at the same organization, her research was on understanding the social impact of environmental change in The Gambia.
At Growing Businesses Foundation, Temilade was a programme officer managing projects on access to finance for women and youth. She has also gained experience in policy and programmes at other institutions including the International Labour Organization (ILO); the Economic Community for West African States (ECOWAS); and the Centre for Public Policy Alternatives (CPPA). Temilade is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris, France where she obtained a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degree, specializing in Global Energy and Sustainability Policy and Governance. She is skilled in investment and policy analysis, strategy development, research, and communications.
